Lysette Anthony to appear in Corrie
Actress Lysette Anthony is to appear in Coronation Street – she’s no stranger to the world of soap though having played Roxanne in the short-lived LWT soap Night and Day. The actress also had a stint in The Bill playing a prostitute who won the heart of DCI Jack Meadows.
Actress Lysette Anthony is to appear in Coronation Street, according to The Sun. The actress will play Lydia Radcliffe who becomes involved with high class escort Lewis (Nigel Havers). The two meet in a bar where they discuss Lewis’ romance with Audrey (Sue Nicholls) but he quickly turns on the charm with Lydia. Actress Lysette Anthony is no stranger to the world of soap having played Roxanne in the LWT soap Night and Day. Following the soaps cancellation in 2003 Anthony had an extended guest stint in The Bill playing prostitute Rachel Heath who won the heart of DCI Jack Meadows.
The actress’ other roles include films such as Save Me and Dracula: Dead and Loving It. Anthony has also appeared in Hollyoaks, Poirot, Doctors, Casualty, Jonathan Creek and Dark Shadows. Her scenes for Coronation Street will air in August.
