A character in teen-drama series 90210 will come out as gay during the shows forthcoming third season, reports Entertainment Weekly. The CW drama series, a revival of the popular 90s series Beverly Hills 90210, is planning to reveal that one of the male characters on the show is in fact gay. The storyline is set to run throughout the season according to Entertainment Weekly and will not just be for the sweeps. The three possible contenders to come out as gay are Liam (Matt Lanter), Navid (Michael Steger) or Teddy (Trevor Donovan).

 

The storyline is one of several sizzling plots producers hope will lure viewers back for the third season of 90210 which will return in the Autumn. The revival has proved popular with audiences unlike the Melrose Palace re-launch which lasted just one season before being canned.
