Adam Lambert records You Tube message for gay teens

Openly gay American Idol runner up Adam Lambert has recorded a You Tube message of support for gay teens.

Adam Lambert has recorded a message of support for gay teens who are struggling to come to terms with their sexuality. The You Tube video by the openly gay American Idol runner-up reassures teens that ‘it gets better’ and is one of several videos posted by high profile gay ‘celebrities’ in support of teenagers.

The videos come in the wake of a spate of suicides in America which are thought to be the result of homophobic bullying. It is believed that up to 19 teenagers in America have committed suicide recently because of their sexuality and the prejudice they faced because of it. The video messages, started by journalist Dan Savage, are to reassure depressed and venerable gay teens that, as they get older, it gets better and that suicide is not the way out.
