National Carers Week: Crossroads Care

Crossroads CareThis week is National Carers Week and so we thought it was a good time to look at the Crossroads Care charity which was founded by ITV and ATV in 1973 after a storyline in the Midland serial, Crossroads. Crossroads Care (caring for carers) is now the biggest respite charity in the world. Barbara Rudge of the Birmingham branch tells us in a video how the charity was founded.

The report also contains clips of the saga launching the charity within the programme.
