The cast of Coronation Street are said to be ‘up in arms’ after bosses put the kibosh on a James Bond-themed Christmas bash.
The party was scheduled to take place at Manchester’s 235 Casino on December 12, but ITV head honchos have reportedly pulled the plug on it after deciding that it was too pricey.
“Everyone was looking forward to getting dressed up in black tie and Bond-girl glamour. It should all have been paid for by Granada – but they cancelled it rather than ask people to pay for themselves.” – Corrie insider via The People
The source added that the cast are considering ‘working to rule’ from January and imposing a ten hour limit on their working day.
