Ant and Dec Dropped from US TV

The duo haven’t won over ABC viewers.

Having cracked the UK with their cheeky boys-next-door persona, Ant and Dec tried their luck in the US. It seems however Americans don’t want Ant and Dec living next door.

Reports claim that ABC Television has ditched their quiz show Wanna Bet? The Geordie presenters had hoped the show would fling them to American stardom.

A source is reported on Teletext as saying: “Ant and Dec are stunned. However, they’ve had other offers in. The main thing is they’re not unknown in America anymore.”

Ant and Dec hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons when a number of their ITV programmes were fined for deliberately misleading their viewers to enter competitions that were at times fixed or many had no chance of winning.

Priductions hit by the scandals included their flagship show, Saturday Night Takeaway.
