Nicholas filmed his scenes in the second week of November for ‘Fly By Night’, which is due on Friday 27th February 2009. In the episode Nicholas plays Steve Tennant, an ambitious 35 year old Actor Nicholas Baileyairline pilot who is finally craving a settled home life with his partner Cathy. Spending so much time away from home is taking its toll on their relationship, but Steve is committed and spending all those nights away from home alone. But can the same be said for Cathy? Steve has his suspicions and it isn’t long, with a little help from Nurse Michelle Corrigan (Donnaleigh Bailey), before Steve finally confronts Cathy once and for all. But, as Steve collapses and is rushed to hospital, can she come to her senses in time?

Producer Carol Harding says: “I was delighted that Nicholas Bailey agreed to play the part of Steve in ‘Fly By Night’; particularly as I know that he was busy with the BBC Four 90 Years of Remembrance documentary on Walter Tull in between filming. Nicholas was a joy to have on set and he kindly offered his experience and support to the relative newcomer, Kate-Lynn Hocking, who played Cathy alongside him.”
