Dancing on Ice Contestants Revealed

Several ex-soap stars are amongst the line-up of “celebrity” contestants in the fourth series of ITV’s Dancing On Ice.

The 13 contestants for the forthcoming fourth season of Dancing On Ice have been confirmed by ITV and there are several ex-soap stars amongst them. Tabloid favourite and Emmerdale actress Roxanne Pallet, who will soon leave the Yorkshire Soap, is one of the soapies appearing in the dancing competition. Gemma Bissix, who recently left EastEnders after a second stint in the London soap, is another contestant. The former Hollyoaks/EastEnders actress had been rumoured to be taking part in the contest for some time. Another ex Hollyoaks actor in the line-up is Jeremy Edwards who also had a stint in medical drama Holby City before turning to presenting duties. Todd Carty, best known for his roles in EastEnders and The Bill is also on the show – Carty most recently appeared in the final episode of Grange Hill, the drama that launched his career. Completing the line-up of ex-soap stars is Ray Quinn who won awards for his stint in Brookside. Quinn is better known these days for his appearance on fellow ITV show The X-Factor.

Other “celebrities” in the competition include Zoe Salmon, a former Blue Peter host, pop-singer Jessica Taylor, ex-footballer Graeme Le Saux, former Rugby player Ellery Hanley, Donal MacIntyre, Michael Underwood, Melinda Messenger and Loose Women panelist Coleen Nolan. Dancing On Ice returns to ITV for its fourth season on Sunday 11th January.
