Jack is back. 24 returns with its seventh and most explosive season. In an unmissable double bill, an old face becomes Jack new enemy. Two years since the last season, a new day dawns for the award-winning drama as America faces its most perilous terrorist threat yet.

 

Having sought redemption in Africa, Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) is in Washington DC standing trial on human rights charges. Meanwhile, the government’s firewalls are breached by techno-terrorists who 24 logocan now control the country’s communications systems. To prove their power, the terrorist unit causes two planes to nearly collide. With CTU now defunct, the White House needs Jack’s help to uncover who’s behind the plot. The FBI has reason to believe that Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard) is involved. But is it possible? Jack’s former friend and colleague was last seen dying at the end of Day 5. Appearances can be deceiving though.

 

Familiar faces back for Day 7 include Mary Lynn Rajskub as Chloe O’Brian, James Morrison as Bill Buchanan, and Elisha Cuthbert returns as Kim Bauer. New casting this season includes Janeane Garofalo (The West Wing) as FBI Special Agent Janis Gold and Carly Pope (Dirt) as Samantha Roth.


Dexter [Week Three] Episode Two: ITV1, Thursday 15th January. 10.35pm

 

DexterDexter, still trying to recover his killer instincts, continues his pursuit of the mountain-sized gangster, Little Chino. Debra convinces herself she is past the trauma of her ordeal with the Ice Truck Killer, but loses control on the job. As they both struggle with their recent pasts, Agent Lundy, a high-profile FBI agent, comes to Miami Metro PD to break the case of the city’s newly discovered serial killer: the Bay Harbour Butcher.
