Charlie Brooks wants new man for Janine

EastEnders star Charlie Brooks is keen for her character Janine to get a new man.

The actress wants her character to return to her maneating ways over the coming months and would like show bosses to draft in a new hunky man for her. 

“I think we should have a big casting call with lots of handsome men and bring in somebody new. Janine’s got a healthy appetite as a maneater!” she revealed.

The soap’s top boss Diederick Santer recently admitted that there is a hole in the show’s “hunk stakes” following the departure of Robert Kazinsky who played Sean Slater.

Brooks recently reprised her role of bad girl Janine after four years away from the show during which she starred in fellow BBC saga Casualty and a harrowing biopic on serial child killer Beverley Allit.
