Trinny and Susannah Axed?

Trinny and SusannahA report in The Mirror claims that fashion duo Trinny and Susannah have been axed from ITV following disappointing ratings for their current ITV series, Trinny and Susannah Meet Their Match, and previous ITV shows.

Trinny and SusannahA report in today’s edition of The Mirror [Saturday 24th Jan] claims that ITV are set to drop Trinny and Susannah following disappointing ratings for their latest ITV show, Trinny and Susannah Meet Their Match. So far the new series has failed to attract viewers and has attracted just 1.8 million viewers for its second episode. ITV have struggled to find a successful format for the duo since tempting them over from the BBC in 2005.

“Trinny and Susannah have been part of the ITV family for several years and are currently two episodes into a three part series. Any decision reagrding future programming will be taken in due course.” ITV spokesperson speaking to The Mirror

At the corporation the pair enjoyed ratings success with their show What Not To Wear but their move to ITV signalled a change of fortunes. Their ITV show Trinny and Susannah Undress The Nation was also a ratings flop for ITV.
