Four to air True Blood

Channel Four has acquired the UK rights to HBO’s True Blood.

Channel Four has acquired the UK terrestrial rights to HBO’s True Blood, a vampire drama series. The series was created by Six Feet Under writer Alan Ball and the first episodes performed so well for HBO that the channel commissioned a second season before the first had finished broadcasting. True Blood will air on Channel Four later this year.
