Tabloid claims Corrie to kill character

Tabloid The Daily Star claim that Coronation Street is planning to kill off one of its characters later this year.

According to The Daily Star ITV soap Coronation Street is planning to kill off one of its “Romeos” later this year. Amongst the characters listed as potentially getting the chop are; Peter Barlow [Chris Gascoyne], Ken Barlow [Bill Roache], Dev Alahan [Jimmi Harkishin], Colin Grimshaw [Edward De Souza] and Jason Grimshaw [Ryan Thomas].

Not so long ago heart-throb Liam Connor was killed off in a hit-and-run accident organised by Tony Gordon. Liam’s death left wife Maria and mistress Carla devastated and eventually left Carla to flee the street after discovering the grim truth of Liam’s death. However, as this story is from The Daily Star take it with a pinch of salt.
