Gethin Jones to Host Sky Quiz

Gethin Jones, former Blue Peter presenter, is to host a brand new quiz show for Sky One.

Former Blue Peter present, and Strictly Come Dancing contestant, Gethin Jones is to present a brand new quiz-show for Sky One. Sell Me the Answer will feature contestants who are asked ten questions or less. Each question is worth an increasing some of money but if the contestant doesn’t know the answer they’ll be able to buy it from one of 60 traders. They’ll have to negotiate with the traders for the answer in exchange for money. If the contestants answer all the questions correctly they could win up to £25,000 in prize money.

The quiz-show will air during the summer and Sky have ordered 50 episodes of the 60 minute quiz show from producers Thumb Up. Filming will begin shortly and the quiz will also air on the Sky One HD channel. Gethin Jones was a co-presenter on Blue Peter for over three years between 2005 and 2008. While with Blue Peter he appeared in the 2007 series of Strictly Come Dancing and came third in the competition. He has also had several minor roles in Doctor Who and its spin-off, Sarah Jane Adventures.
