Bissix Hollyoaks Return Confirmed

It’s been confirmed that Gemma Bissix will return to Hollyoaks later this year to reprise her role of Clare Devine.

Superbitch Clare Devine is heading back to Hollyoaks as it’s been confirmed that actress Gemma Bissix will be returning to the Channel Four soap this summer. The return of Clare will be tied in with the departures of bad-boys Warren [James Lomas] and Justin [Chris Fountain]. There was some speculation over whether or not Clare would be involved in the characters departure storylines or if, perhaps, Louise Summers [Roxanne McKee] would be involved.

Bissix returns to Hollyoaks next week for filming but won’t be seen on-screen until May. Her first stint in the soap proved very successful with the actress winning a string of awards for her character and storylines, including Best Bitch and Best Exit. Since leaving the teen-soap the actress reprise her role of Clare Bates in EastEnders for several months and most recently appeared, briefly, in Dancing on Ice.
