Danniella Westbrook reprises EastEnders role
Danniella Westbrook will be returning to the Square as Sam Mitchell, The Sun reports.
The Sun revealed last month that bosses were considering bringing back the star after 9 years away from the show.
Now the paper says it has been confirmed that the character will be returning and that Danniella is on her way back to take up the role. Sam was played by Kim Medcalf for 3 years between 2002 and 2005.

Danniella previously played Sam between 1990-1993, 1995-1996 and 1999-2000, with the last two occasions seeing her written out of the show due to a high-profile drug addiction. With Danniella in the role, Sam is best remembered for her rocky relationship with nice-but-dim Ricky Butcher (Sid Owen).
