Kazinsky For Robin Hood?

Reports in the Daily Star Sunday suggest that former EastEnders star Robert Kazinsky is being lined up to replace Jonas Armstrong in Robin Hood.
Armstrong who plays the leader of the Merry Men in the Cult series announced that he would be leaving the show in August 2008 and his final series is currently airing on BBC One. Kazinsky, meanwhile, made his final appearance as EastEnders resident heart-throb and tough guy Sean Slater in January this year.

A hunt is now on for Armstrong’s replacement and Kazinsky has been tipped to take over the role when filming for the fourth series begins later in the year.

“Bosses think Rob will be a perfect like-for-like replacement. He is known for always having stubble and looks rough and ready, just like Jonas. So he’d be the ideal candidate for taking on the mantle and has a track record as a hard man. He is the ideal choice.” Robin Hood Insider talking to the Daily Star Sunday.

Armstrong isn’t the only Robin Hood star who won’t be back for series four as Keith Allen who plays the Sheriff of Nottingham has also announced his decision to quit the series and has confirmed that he will not be in the next series.
