No Walford Role For Dyer
Danny Dyer has reportedly shelved plans to appear in BBC1 soap opera EastEnders.
The Football Factory star was apparently holding talks with show bosses over a possible role in the BBC1 soap last month and later announced that he hoped to shed his “hard man” image by appearing on the programme but the actor has now stated that he won’t be taking up a role with the show after all.
“I quite liked the idea of it. But actually, in reality, I just got cold feet. Just from having a meeting it’s all over the newspapers and it gave me the horrors. Imagine if I went in it.With the EastEnders thing, the whole publicity gets out of hand. It’s like a whole new beast. It’s not something I fancy.” Dyer speaking to the Daily Star Sunday.
