Obsessed Hollyoaks Fan Meets Tragic Maker
A Hollyoaks fan passed away following a drink and drugs overdose after developing an obsession with one of the teen soap’s characters, an inquest has heard.
The tragic teen Lauren Fenton-Anderson who was just 24, was found dead at her home in Tunbridge Wells, Kent last August following an alcohol and painkillers binge A coroner was informed this week that the interior design student became convinced that she was one of the Channel 4 soap’s troubled female characters.
John Marshall – Fenton-Anderson’s boyfriend confirmed that his partner became addicted to the soap whilst suffering insomnia.
Deputy coroner Alan Blunsdon recorded a veridict of misadventure and said “She did take the tablets but didn’t appreciate the effect of mixing them with alcohol.”
