Outhwaite Takes On New Role

According to The Mirror, Tamzin Outhwaite has taken on the role of a policewoman in a new BBC drama.
The paper reports that the former EastEnder will play Detective Inspector Rebecca Flint, a cop who solves crimes which are committed in the future, in a new series, Paradox.
“Stopping crimes before they happen is a fantastic idea.” said the BBC’s Ben Stephenson.
Outwaite played the pretty but unlucky-in-love Mel in EastEnders between 1998 and 2002 and since leaving has appeared in popular series including Red Cap, The Fixer and Hotel Babylon amongst other things. She gave birth to her first child in June 2008 to husband actor Tom Ellis who is known for his appearances in EastEnders and Doctor Who.
