Tucker Quits Neighbours
It has been announced that Neighbours star Brett Tucker is set to leave the soap when his contract expires in September.
The actor has played the role of teacher Daniel Fitzgerald in the soap since 2007 but is set to leave later this year with plans afoot to move to the US after winning a green card.
Speaking of his decision to leave, Tucker said “My contract was always two years and that was planned from day one.
“I have loved the opportunity, it has been fantastic to be on the show. I won a green card in the US lottery and i was thinking about moving there anyway. I finish in September and my flight is booked for October 6.”
