Actress Julia Barr is to return to American soap All My Children in a few abcweeks time for a longer stint following her brief cameo in special episodes to mark the soaps 40th anniversary. The actress reprised her role of Brooke English for brief scenes featured in episodes that aired this week in America to mark the shows anniversary and hinted that a future return wasn’t out of the question. Now according to leading site soapcentral.com the actress is to head back to the soap for a longer stint in just a few weeks time.

The actress will be back on-screen shortly for an extended guest stint though producers at the soap won’t state how long that’ll be for. Julia Barr made her last appearance in the soap three years ago after being dropped by producers in a move which caused outraged amongst fans of All My Children. The actress had refused to drop down to “recurring” status and so producers simply dropped her from the series all together. Barr had originally joined the cast as Brooke in 1976 but left in 1880 only to return in 1982 where she remained in the soap until three years ago.
