Stuart Damon to join Days of our Lives

 

NBCFormer General Hospital actor Stuart Damon, who won a daytime Emmy award for his role of Alan Quartermaine on the ABC medical drama, is to join the cast of NBC soap Days of our Lives.

Former General Hospital actor Stuart Damon is to join the cast of NBC nbcsoap Days of our Lives according to leading soap site soapcentral.com. The actor played Alan Quartermaine on General Hospital for 30 years and won a Daytime Emmy Award for his role in the ABC medical-drama. The actor was dropped from General Hospital in 2007 to the surprise of fans though his screen-time on the soap had been greatly reduced by this time fans were still surprised to read of his axing. Bosses on the soap later relented somewhat when the actor returned for a few months but later departed. More recently Damon appeared on CBS soap As The World Turns playing Ralph Manzo but now he’s joining NBC’s Days of our Lives – though his role in the soap hasn’t been revealed yet nor has his first on-screen appearance in the soap.
