Trevor Eve to star in new ITV drama
Waking the Dead actor is to star in a new three-part ITV drama entitled Kidnap and Ransom which will be produced by 24’s Patrick Harbinson. It’s the second project for ITV that Eve will appear in this year – he’s also to appear in the broadcasters remake of the controversial Bouquet of Barbed Wire.
Trevor Eve will be amongst the cast of a new ITV drama which will air later this year. The three-part drama, Kidnap and Ransom, will be produced by 24’s Patrick Harbinson. Waking the Dead actor Eve will play international hostage negotiator Dominic King in the three-part thriller. Also due to appear in the drama will be Helen Baxendale, John Hannah, Natalie Little, Emma Fielding and Amara Karan.

It’s the second project for ITV that’ll feature Eve this year with the actor also due to appear in the broadcasters remake of the controversial drama Bouquet of Barbed Wire. His BBC One drama Waking the Dead has been the subject of some speculation over whether or not the corporation will cancel it. Although the cold-case drama will return for another season there has been some speculation it’ll be the last as the BBC decide to cancel it in favour of new projects.
