Five Days ends run with 6 million viewers

 

BBCThe second five-part BBC Drama Five Days, which starred Suranne Jones and Anne Reid, concluded on Friday evening with over 6 million viewers while Michael Winner’s Dinning Stars continued its poor run on ITV as it tied in the ratings with The Mentalist on Five. 

The second five-part BBC One drama Five Days concluded on Friday with over 6 million viewers. The second series of the drama starred, amongst others, Suranne Jones, Anne BBCReid and Derek Riddell, and opened on Monday evening with an impressive 7.4 million viewers. Across the week Five Days rated well although it couldn’t maintain the high of 7 million it did average over 6 million viewers per episode. The final instalment of the drama pulled in 6.3 million viewers to BBC One at 9pm. Elsewhere on ITV1 Michael Winner’s Dinning Stars continued its poor run on Friday evening for ITV1 as it tied in the ratings with Five’s American important The Mentalist. The ITV1 factual series fronted by Michael Winner lost half a million viewers on last week’s opening instalment which didn’t exactly rate brilliant either. The Mentalist and Michael Winner’s Dinning Stars both had 2.1 million viewers.
