Actor Michael Graziadei has signed a new contract with CBS daytime soap The Young and the Restless which will see him remain on the series for a further year. This year there won’t be any speculation over Graziadei’s future on the soap as it has been quickly announced he will continue to play Daniel Romalotti on the top-rated soap. The quick confirmation of his renewal is in stark contrast to the last time it was renewed in late 2008 when rumours quickly spread that the actor would leave The Young and the Restless for other roles – including film and prime-time roles. However, despite claims that Graziadei would leave the CBS series he renewed his contact with Y&R and has now done so again for a further year.

Michael Graziadei joined The Young and the Restless in 2004 as Daniel Romalotti and was nominated in 2005 and 2005 for a Daytime Emmy award in the Outstanding Young Actor category.
