Tiana Benjamin - BBCActress Tiana Benjamin is quitting her role of Chelsea Fox in EastEnders after four years in the BBC soap – according to Digital Spy. The actress joined the soap in May 2005 along with Diane Parish as her on-screen mother, Denise. The actress has quit the soap purse other roles and will film her final scenes with EastEnders within the next few months. Chelsea Fox has worked for a number of businesses on the Square such as Tanya Branning’s beauty parlour, from which she was sacked at least twice, and more recently the Queen Vic pub. When Claire Bates [Gemma Bissix] returned to Albert Square in 2008 she was paired up with Chelsea.

The actress’s departure from EastEnders will follow the exit of Preeya Kalidas later this month as Amira Syed and Barbara Windsor, as Peggy Mitchell, in the Summer. However, Shane Richie and Jessie Wallace will return later this year as Alfie and Kat Moon while Zoe Lucker has signed up to join the soap later this year.
