Holby City guest-stars revealed

 

They’ll be a few familiar faces in the wards of Holby City in the next few months with Jacqueline Leonard and Stirling Gallacher amongst those to guest star in the medical drama.

They’ll be a few familiar faces in the wards of Holby City in the next few months with Jacqueline Leonard and Stirling Gallacher amongst those to guest star in the medical drama. Series producer Diana Kyle revealed in an interview with popular entertainment site Digital Spy some of the familiar faces that’ll be cropping up in the wards of Holby City over the coming months. Jacqueline Leonard will once again appear in the medical drama; fans will recognise her for her roles in EastEnders, Doctors, Peak Practice and BBC Scotland soap River City.

In fact there’s a strong Doctors connection running through the actors Kyle revealed to Digital Spy as appearing in Holby City. Ben Jones who played gay doctor Greg Robinson in Doctors is another familiar face to appear in Holby; Jones has also appeared in Echo Beach, My Family and Spooks since leaving the daytime medical drama in 2007. Actress Stirling Gallacher is another former Doctors that’ll be cropping up in Holby City. Gallacher played Doctor Georgina Woodson between 2003 and 2009 but will also be familiar to comedy fans for her roles in Little Britain.
