Billie Piper drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl, which airs on ITV2, could be made into a film according to The Sun. The tabloid claims that the drama, which has so far run to three seasons, will be given a Hollywood remake following the series success in America on HBO. The tabloid claims that they’ll be one more series of the drama before it transfers to the big-screen with bosses hoping it’ll be as successful as Sex and the City.

“I’m about to start filming the fourth series and then that will be it. I’m not sure it has legs past four seasons so we’re trying to develop a movie.” – Billie Piper quoted in The Sun

There had been some doubt as to whether ITV2 would order a fourth season of the drama following lower ratings for its third outing. However, its seems as though ITV have indeed ordered a fourth series of the call-girl drama.
