The Invisible Man on DVD

Classic series The Invisible Man is out on DVD.

With brand new transfers taken from the original film elements, this DVD of The Invisible Man has never looked better. As well as the never-before-seen pilot episode it also includes a number of exclusive audio commentaries, image gallery and more.


Peter Brady, a scientist testing his theories in optical density, becomes a victim of his own success when a laboratory accident douses him with chemicals and renders him invisible.

 Unable to change back, Brady decides to use his power so that it can benefit the world at large and becomes embroiled in a series of adventures, some of them on behalf of Her Majesty’s Government. Bank raids, scientist abductions, scheming stepfathers, invisible rabbits, military coups and stopping World War III – it’s all in a day’s work for The Invisible Man…

Special Features

The Network DVD release includes brand new commentaries on episodes Shadow Bomb, Picnic With Death and Secret Experiment from contributors Lisa Daniely, Deborah Watling, Brian Clemens and Ray Austin. There are also the ITC Italian titles for the show and a collection of articles (in PDF format) from the ATV Star Book releases of 1960 and 1961.
