EXCLUSIVE: Mini-Moon for EastEnders Kat

EastEnders’ Kat Moon will be expecting a baby when she returns to Walford next month we can exclusively reveal.

Details of the plot are a closely guarded secret but an Elstree EastEnders insider told ATV reporters last night “It’s true Kat is pregnant. There’s also a further surprise in store for viewers.”

Our insider declined to comment on what the further surprise in store was but added “Viewers will have to keep watching to see the plot unfold but Kat’s always led a complicated life and this plot will be no different.”

Walford residents last saw Kat back in 2005 when she left the Square with Alfie to go travelling around America. Bosses decided to bring back the characters following Barbara Windsor’s decision to leave the soap, which will play out on-screen later this year.

Last month it was announced that Steve John Shepherd will play Alfie’s cousin Michael Moon. In other EastEnders news actor Perry Fenwick – Billy Mitchell in the saga – is celebrating recording 1000 episodes. He recorded his landmark edition last week.
