Blair and Wales on new Daybreak
The new ITV breakfast show Daybreak is to interview former Prime Minster Tony Blair and HRH The Prince of Wales during the first week of programmes.
Following the release of his new autobiography, controversial Bliar will join Chiles and Bleakley on the purple sofa this Monday to give his first live UK television interview since publication of the book titled A Journey.
The weekends with an exclusive interview with HRH The Prince of Wales. Adrian and Christine will interview the ‘King in waiting’ as part of a week long special on his new START initiative national tour.
ITV add “Also in week one of the new breakfast programme, Chief Correspondent Richard Gaisford investigates how the dream of a new life abroad has turned sour for thousands of Brits; Dr Hilary Jones has an investigation into Britain’s benefits system. There’s the extraordinary story of a family reunited after more than 25 years; and Special Correspondent John Stapleton, will be bringing Daybreak viewers an exclusive investigation on day one.”
Daybreak airs from 6am to 9.25 on ITV1.
