Strictly Come Dancing star to blog for iVillage.co.uk

Strictly Come Dancing star Kristina Rihanoff has signed to an online site to blog the latest backstage antics from the reality show.

Kristina has signed to iVillage.co.uk and will be giving

all the latest gossip from behind the scenes. In her first post she speaks of her new pairing with Goldie for this series.

“Goldie is lovely; he’s a big character and will talk to everyone. He is excited to get on the floor and I know he will work really hard – you can’t ask for anything more in a dance partner. Plus his talent as a DJ means that he is musically minded and understands rhythm.”

Speaking to ATV Today, iVillage.co.uk Managing Editor Gavin Conway said: “We are delighted to have Kristina on board especially as she has once again been paired with one of the most charismatic celebrities in the show. Strictly is enormously popular with our users and they are extremely excited at the prospect of reading Kristina’s weekly behind-the-scenes updates on the site.”

Kristina joined Strictly Come Dancing in 2008 and was paired with broadcaster John Sergeant. John decided to pull out of the show after criticism that he was ruining other more capable dancers, despite the public voting to keep him in the show. Last year Kristina was paired with boxer Joe Calzaghe and was eliminated in week 5 of the competition.
