Coronation Street: David Platt heading to prison?

Troubled character could be heading to the clink.

A source has told ATV Today that David Platt could be heading to prison for attempted murder.

David Platt, played by Jack P. Shepherd, is no stranger to the law, but it seems that he could be heading to the slammer for the attempted murder of a Coronation Street favourite.

A source told ATV Today “David’s actions will leave his neighbours wondering just what else is he capable of”.

The scenes are due to air in October.

David Platt (previously Tilsley), the son of Martin Platt and Gail Rodwell was born on Christmas Day 1990, in later years, for most of his youth he had few storylines however David became troubled in his teens, especially after almost being drowned by stepfather Richard Hillman.

Corrie is produced by ITV Granada in Manchester, the production is ITV’s longest running serial.
