Emmerdale bosses are reportedly keen to get James Sutton, who plays Ryan Lamb in the Yorkshire soap, to renew him contract.

Emmerdale bosses are reportedly keen to persuade James Sutton, who plays Ryan Lamb in the Yorkshire soap, to renew his contract. According to tabloid newspaper The Sun the actor is considering his future with the soap and bosses fear he may quit. In recent months actors Amanda Donohoe, Alice Coulthard and Lyndon Ogbourne have all announced they are to leave the soap – now bosses fear James Sutton may become the fourth actor to quit the soap.

They are keen to retain the actor – who is popular with fans – and are said to have several big storylines lined up for his character, Ryan. Sutton is contracted until March. A spokesperson for Emmerdale confirmed to the paper that Sutton was currently negotiating his new contract.
