Actress Carley Stenson has revealed she was tearful after filming her final scenes for the Channel Four soap Hollyoaks.

 

Actress Carley Stenson has revealed she was tearful after filming her final scenes for the Channel Four soap Hollyoaks. The actress plays Steph Dean in the soap has been a cast member for ten years but decide to quit to concentrate on other projects earlier this year. The actress has already filmed her final scenes as Steph but will bow-out of Hollyoaks on-screen later this year.

 “My final scenes were really sad and emotional. I’ve said to everyone as soon as I let the flood gates open there’s no stopping me so I’ve tried to hold back the tears as much as I can. It will hit me in a few months time.” – Carley Stenson talking to PA at the Inside Soap Awards

 

Stenson has already begun work on her next role; playing Margot in Legally Blonde: The Musical. The actress is currently rehearsing for the role. During Stenson’s ten year stint with Hollyoaks her character has been involved in many storylines nearly becoming a victim of the Hollyoaks serial killer, losing her husband Max (Matt Littler) on their wedding day and most recently being diagnosed with cancer.
