Hollyoaks Later success for E4

Hollyoaks Later is proving to be a success for E4 as the main show gears up for a night the residents of Hollyoaks village will never forget. Contains Spoilers

Hollyoaks Later is currently airing across the week at 9pm on digital channel E4, in which Jasmine Costello battles with her gender identity, Riley and Seth Costello are in danger from their Dad’s past and is all well with Mercedes?

So far overnight viewing figures have seen the show post healthy ratings for E4. The first episode which aired Monday attracted 561,000 viewers at 9pm, with an extra 141,000 watching the late night repeat. Tuesday’s episode, which has left viewers wondering if Seth is alive attracted 648,000 viewers at 9pm, with an extra 137,000 catching up at midnight.

The total reach (+3mins) is 1.8m of which 1m are 16-34s meaning that over 7% of all 16-34s have tuned in to the show across its first 2 days. Hollyoaks will be hoping that this continues throughout the week.

A promo has also been running for the massive fire which will sweep through Hollyoaks village from Bonfire Night. The fire is expected to have an effect on most of the characters as viewers will be left wondering who will survive. News broke earlier this month that Warren Fox, played by Jamie Lomas, is to make a shock comeback from the ‘dead’.

Hollyoaks Later continues this week at 9pm on E4 and the main show airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
