Living has confirmed to ATV Today that it has no plans to air the American daytime soap The Bold and the Beautiful.

Living has confirmed to ATV Today that it has no plans to air the American daytime soap The Bold and the Beautiful. Until September the soap was shown on Diva TV in the UK but the digital channel pulled The Bold and the Beautiful from its schedules much to the annoyance of its fans. There were hopes that other UK broadcasters such as Channel Five, CBS Drama and Living would pick up the rights to the soap.

However, CBS Drama told ATV Today back in September it had no plans to acquire the soap and now Living has confirmed to ATV Today it won’t air The Bold and the Beautiful either. With the departure of the New Zealand soap Shortland Street from Living it was hoped it would be replaced by The Bold and the Beautiful – but Living has confirmed to us that is not the case.

The Bold and the Beautiful is set in Los Angeles and follows the lives and loves of the Forrest family. It is the most watched daytime soap in the world.
