Lord Sugar describes deputy PM as “the other clown”

Lord Sugar, star of BBC One‘s The Apprentice will appear tonight on The Graham Norton Show, in which he talks about The Apprentice and politics.

Ahead of the screening tonight, snippets have been released of what is said. Talking about the government cuts, Lord Sugar says that the Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg was “someone the public was a little bit confused by” and describes him as “the other clown”. He went on to say regarding the cuts “We won’t see the full impact of the cuts on unemployment until 2012.”


Melissa Cohen became the fourth candidate to be fired from this weeks The Apprentice. “Melissa wasn’t very good and no, I didn’t ‘conversate’ with her” said Lord Sugar.


James Blunt, Lee Mack and Pamela Stephenson join Lord Sugar on The Graham Norton Show tonight at 10.35pm on BBC One.
