According to reports the Rugby player has not been able to spend much time rehearsing this week with partner Katya Virshilas due to a bug and therefore may not be able to perform on Saturday.
If Henson is forced to pull out of Saturday’s edition of Strictly Come Dancing he’ll be the second contestant this year to miss a week due to illness. Former Coronation Street actress Tina O’Brien missed a week of the competition due to catching Chicken Pox. Previous years of Strictly Come Dancing have also seen offer contestants forced to miss weeks or even withdraw for health reasons.
Last year host Bruce Forsyth was forced to miss a week due to a flu bug and was replaced by Claudia Winkleman and Ronnie Corbett. Also last year contestant Jade Johnson left the competition due to injury while in 2006 Jimmy Tarbuck left on health grounds.
