MSNBC suspends Keith Olbermann

One of the MSNBC‘s most popular presenters, Keith Olbermann has been suspended by the news network.

Keith Olbermann, host of ‘Countdown with Keith Olbermann’ has been suspended by the news network after reports that he had donated money to the campaigns of three Democratic candidates. The reports had come from the Politico news website. NBC has said that they have rules in place in which employees are not allowed to donate money to political campaigns. Keith Olbermann has a popular left wing following and is known for highlighting problems with the alleged right wing agenda of rival news channel Fox News.

 

MSNBC President Phil Griffin told the Politico website, “I became aware of Keith’s political contributions late last night. Mindful of NBC News policy and standards, I have suspended him indefinitely without pay.”
