Actor Jimi Mistry has become the latest celebrity to exit BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing. Mistry and dance partner Flavia Cacace got their highest scores last night for their performance last night winning 32 points out of a possible 40 for the Quickstep. However, despite the high score and praises from the judges it still wasn’t enough to save them. Bruno Tonioli described the dance as “very entertaining”.
Jimi Mistry and Flavia Cacace found themselves in the bottom two alongside Michelle Williams and Brendan Cole. Mistry is best known for his roles in the films East is East and The Guru as well as appearing in the late 1990s in the BBC One soap EastEnders. He follows former Coronation Street actress Tina O’Brien, magacian Paul Daniels and DJ Goldie out of Strictly Come Dancing.
