Ron Moore sells Coast Guard Drama to NBC

Ron Moore, show-runner of Battlestar Galactica, has sold an ambitious new drama series to NBC.

 

Ron Moore, show-runner of Battlestar Galactica, has sold an ambitious new drama series to NBC. The drama, The McCulloch, revolves around the men and women who work for a fictional Coast Guard cutter which travels around the world. The Battlestar Galactica prequel series Caprica was cancelled last month by Syfy following low ratings though a new spin-off, Blood and Chrome, has been commissioned by Syfy with Moore once again involved with the project. Last year Moore’s pilot for Fox, Virtuality , was not picked up for a series by the broadcaster.
