Coronation Street live episode time and date confirmed

ITV has confirmed that the live episode of Coronation Streetwill air on Thursday 9th December at 8.00pm

The live episode will feature the aftermath of the explosion and tram crash which will see some characters killed off. ITV has confirmed that the one hour live episode will air on the 50th anniversary date. Coronation Street first began on 9th December 1960. An ITV 2 special will follow, interviewing cast and crew regarding the live episode.

It has also been confirmed today that Coronation Street will air all week as the drama unfolds. Monday 6th December 7.30pm and 8.30pm, Tuesday 8.30pm, Wednesday 7.00pm, Friday 7.30pm and 8.30pm. The Thursday episode is live and will began at 8.00pm through until 9.00pm.
