Matt Cardle has urged fans of The X Factor to stop voting for Wagner.

 

Matt Cardle has urged fans of The X Factor to stop voting for Wagner. The Brazilian singer reportedly has enough online support to ensure his survival for several more rounds or even possibly into the finals – not a prospect that Matt Cardle welcomes. The X Factor singer has blasted the campaign to keep Wagner in the competition and even said he’d rather Katie Waissel stayed in the competition.

 

“The whole Wagner thing – enough is enough. The joke is over now and people should be voting for the singers. People would mind leaving the competition less if Wagner wasn’t still in it. I would be gutted if I went home before Wagner. I’m sure Aiden is. I would prefer Katie stay next week to Wagner, yeah definitely – at least she’s a good singer, she looks good.” – Matt Cardle quoted in the Scottish Daily Recorder

Cardle has also spoken of his surprise that Aiden Grimshaw was voted out of The X Factor on Sunday evening instead of Katie Waissel – and criticised Simon Cowell’s decision to opt to save Waissel instead of Grimshaw. You can read more about that here >>
