Buffy producer joins Torchwood: The New World

Entertainment Weekly reports that Kelly Manners has joined Torchwood: The New World as producer.

 

Entertainment Weekly reports that Kelly Manners has joined Torchwood: The New World as producer. Manners has something of a history of collaboration with Joss Whedon working on his shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer, spin-off Angel and more recently Dollhouse. Manners is one of several behind-the-scenes staff being added to the new series of Torchwood. Other key personnel to join the crew include Bharat Nalluri as a Director (Life on Mars), Todd McIntosh (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Gregory Melton (The Walking Dead) and Shawna Trpcic (Angel/Dollhouse).

 

 

Entertainment Weekly also reports that Starz has provisionally scheduled Torchwood to air in July though this is subject to change. Filming on the fourth season of Torchwood is due to begin next month in Los Angeles.
