Cheryl Cole signs American X Factor Deal

Cole would be amongst the panel of judges on the American version of the hit ITV series – a role she is already more than familiar with thanks to her UK judging position. According to The Sun producers of the American X Factor have been impressed by Cole and have offered her a one-year deal worth £3 million!

 

“She has really charmed the American execs. They love her good looks and the way she wears her heart on her sleeve. And of course her chemistry with Simon [Cowell] played a huge part in it. They are great together.” – A “source’ in The Sun

 

Meanwhile it has also been reported that Universal, who Cole recently signed a record contract with, are keen to release her second album Messy Little Raindrops in America to coincide with her X Factor role over there.

As yet there has been no official announcement about how will be joining Simon Cowell for The X Factor in America though he has promised “some surprises”. Some reports have claimed that Sharon Osbourne, former judge on the British series, will be amongst the judges.
