The X FactorTreyc Cohen has become the latest singer to be voted off The X Factor after ending up in the bottom two with Katie Waissel. The two singers are both acts of Cheryl Cole who refused to pick between the two. Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh both picked to send Treyc Cohen home – though Louis Walsh had trouble picking between them. Only Dannii Minogue voted to send Katie Waissel home – meaning the singer once again escaped being booted off The X Factor. Waissel was this week’s favourite by bookies to be voted off the competition as the public backlash against her continues and the singer continues to suffer from some bad press.

Treyc Cohen and Katie Waissel achieved the lowest amount of public votes and fought in the sing off. Cheryl Cole looked shocked when Dermot read out that Wagner had made it through to next week’s live show. The crowd also reacted, who began to boo the public’s decision to put Wagner through. In the sing off, Katie sang “Don’t Give Up On Me” by Solomon Burke,  in which she sank to the floor during the song with tears building up. Treyc was next who sang the Toni Braxton classic ‘Unbreak My Heart’. During the judges voting…

Simon – “Treyc, you are the better singer…Katie you are the more interesting performer”, the person he decides to send home is Treyc.

Cheryl – “I’m not sending either of you home”, Cheryl refuses to vote

Dannii – “These girls are brilliant singers”, votes to send home Katie

Louis – “It’s really difficult, it’s not easy”, decides to send home Treyc

With two votes, Treyc Cohen becomes the latest contestant to be eliminated from The X Factor. When Dermot asks what went wrong, she points to the connection with the audience at home.
