BBC Radio Four’s James Naughtie tripped over his words this morning and accidentally renamed Conservative Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt. The Today presenter was discussing an interview with Jeremy Hunt that was to follow later in the Today show but slipped up over his words. Instead of calling the Tory Mp Jeremy Hunt he instead called him Jeremy C***.

The clip above, audio only, is of the slip up which went out on Radio Four. Naughtie apologised for the slip and corrected himself. The world of Twitter was, as ever, quickly ablaze with Tweets regarding the slip up. However, while some viewers were outraged over the accidental slip up others were quite amused by it.

Jeremy Hunt has, in his relatively short time in office, upset a fair few people within the media world mostly for his scrapping of the UK Film Council; the arts body which awards funning to UK films. The axing of the body was widely condemned in the UK and also in Hollywood but despite the criticisms the council will still be scrapped.
