Actress Debbi Morgan is temporarily exiting ABC daytime soap All My Children. The actress plays Angie Hubbard on the ABC soap and is currently involved in two big storylines by fans of AMC have noticed in recent weeks that the character has been appearing less frequently. Now it has been revealed that actress Debbi Morgan will be temporarily exiting the soap but will return in the New Year when her storylines will be picked up. A spokesperson for All My Children stated Morgan was taking a leave of absence from the daytime soap to attend to a “personal matter”
Morgan first joined All My Children as Angie Hubbard in 1982 remaining with the soap until 1990. Morgan then reprised the role on fellow ABC soap Loving between 1993 and its finale in 1995. Then Morgan crossed over to the newly launched ABC soap The City remaining with until its cancellation in 1997. All three soaps were created by Agnes Nixon (who co-created Loving with Douglas Marland and The City with Barbara Essenten and James Harmon Brown). It was over a decade before Debbi Morgan reprised her role once again when she returned, in 2008, to All My Children.
